Why Bonjour Bakery Has Become Our Go-To for Cakes, Desserts & Special Events

There are certain local businesses you find once and immediately know you’ll be coming back to again and again. Bonjour Bakery is one of those places for us.

From birthdays and bachelorette celebrations to our wedding day, Bonjour Bakery has become our go-to for cakes, cupcakes, desserts, and all the little treats that make a special event even sweeter.

And after having them be part of so many of our celebrations, we can confidently say they are one of our favorite local bakeries in the Flathead Valley.

It Started With a Birthday Cake

Our love for Bonjour Bakery started before our wedding was even on the calendar.

Last winter, we ordered a birthday cake from them, and it was SO good. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted just as good as it looked. Which, if you’ve ordered a lot of event cakes, you know isn’t always a guarantee.

After such a great experience, they were an easy choice when it came time to plan another big celebration: our wedding!

They made the cutest cupcakes for us, and once again, they were a hit. At that point, Bonjour Bakery had officially become one of those businesses we knew we could trust for our important events.

So naturally, when it came time to choose the cake and desserts for our wedding, we knew exactly who we wanted to call.

Wedding planning comes with what feels like a million little decisions, so finding vendors you trust makes such a difference.

We wanted our wedding desserts to feel beautiful and special, but we also wanted them to be something our guests would genuinely enjoy eating. Bonjour Bakery gave us exactly that.

They created our wedding cake, helped cater our dessert table, and even provided items for our wedding grazing table.

Everything came together beautifully.

Our cake was exactly what we hoped for, and the additional desserts gave our guests plenty to choose from throughout the evening. We received so many compliments on the cake and other goodies, which is always a good sign when you’re feeding a crowd!

There’s something really special about looking around your wedding reception and seeing people you love enjoying all of the details you spent months planning. The desserts were definitely one of those details for us.

One of the things we loved most about working with Bonjour Bakery was that they were able to help us with more than just the cake.

Having desserts for the dessert table and items for our grazing table come from a bakery we already knew and trusted made the process so much easier. It also helped everything feel cohesive instead of like a bunch of random pieces thrown together.

By the time our wedding came around, we had already ordered from Bonjour Bakery for multiple special occasions, so it was nice knowing this was one thing we didn't have to worry about.

And they absolutely delivered.

Everything we ordered was delicious, our guests loved it, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out.

One of my favorite parts of planning our wedding was getting to work with so many talented local Montana businesses.

There are some truly incredible wedding vendors throughout the Flathead Valley, and Bonjour Bakery is certainly one of the businesses we are grateful we chose.

There is also something extra special about being able to continue supporting a business long after your wedding day is over.

Bonjour Bakery wasn't just our “wedding cake bakery.” They were part of our birthday celebrations before the wedding, my bachelorette party, our actual wedding day, and I’m sure they will be part of plenty more celebrations in the future.

That says a lot.
